  1. nvidia has had worse drivers than amd for the past 3 months, did you NOT see the RX 480 above? At stock speeds it consumed 90Watts and did NOT go over 60C, plus most 2014-2016, 95% of the AAA titles are Nvidia optimized, even DX12 titles like RIse of the Tomb Raider and Total War, thus it's normal for weaker or equivalent Nvidia gpus to perform better than AMD stronger or equivalent in those game. Then comes DX12 and Vulcan as well.
