@adgefreeman6091 true, but if you have a problem, get a dummy phone, this is advice for you and you can share it with everyone who realizes that they have a problema and that they need help. I personally use my phone less than an hour a day(many days I don't even use it) and when I do it's usually to listen to music or actually making phone calls, so I'm fine with my smartphone usage. Now Youtube on the other hand infront of my PC I need to reduce.

@@tuscan4174 Thanks. It's all by design. The chance of people competing with the big companies and the government must be crushed, otherwise the people in power, won't be in power for too long. And I'm passionate about it, because even though I'm in my mid-20s I see how my life has been wasted, and even though I got a good job now, by the time I become good enough, I'll be too old. Those 17 years could have been used so much more productively both intellectually and physically. You can read Weapons of Mass Instruction, in where they literally cite the letters of the people who invented the current education system and what they said in those letters is that they don't want smart, thinking, capable people, they wanted obedient, soul-dead, conformists that are smart enough to operate the machines, but dumb enough not to ask any questions or think for themselves.

@T404-i9w The age of senescence is between 23-25, that's the age your body starts to degrade due to age, by 30 you've been degrading for 5-7 years, you are old, just still capable enough.

@Kazuhira Miller For people who lack the drive, there are much cheaper, much faster private courses that take 6 months to 2 years, instead of 4-8 years. I took a private software engineering course and learnt more than I did in university in just 1.33 years compared 4, except for mathematics, most of which I don't need anyway. And technically I was self-educating, the private course was primarly to test what I've learnt on my own, I studied far ahead of it.

Baseline + being told men are evil and that men hate women for decades now. Men are much more likely to be attacked, because even the vast majority of men that attack other people, still like women too much to do harm to them, if they didn't, the obvious choice would be to attack a woman as a man.

And they neglected the children to the free babysitting institution known as the "education" system, which completely ruins children, wastes their youth and produces useless people in 12-20 years.(Unless you self-educate, but then what's the point of the education system, it just wastes time and mentally drains you).

@mattb9664 Doesn't change the fact that you are forced to participate in the "education" system for 11 years of you live, 8+ hours a day, wasting your time and youth and teaching you nothing. The "education" system produces useless people in 12-20 years that can barely get a bottom position job in their field if at all...

A in a class doesn't matter, because the skill and knowledge behind that A is minimal and usually not practical in the real world in 99.999% of the cases, STEM student here.

That's why people must be strong, so if you have children, which is highly unlikely that you want to have, make them strong and teach them skills and knowledge so that by 18 they can be engineers or tradesmen or businessmen.

@eebbaa5560 You don't need to explain it in terms of hormones, you can use euphemisms. Tell them that their brain is being abused by online content and pleasurable activities and that they should work first and then have a limited amount of pleasurable time.

What my comment was about how all current official education systems produce weak, stupid useless people and how if kids were specialized through self-education and courses from the age of 11-12 by the time they are 16-20 they'd be high skilled and knowledgeable experts in their sub-fields. My other comment was far more detailed, but youtube deletes it.

yup, by the age of 18-21 people should have the knowledge and skill to be an expert in a field so they can land a good position job in said field, be more than simply financially literate, they should be well aware how the economy functions, investments and all the possibilities they have within the economic model in their country and should be socially adept. Instead parents neglect their children to the education system, they don't help them develop any sort of character, skill and experience and think that as long as they buy them toys and the kids get As it's all good, when the education system produces useless people, destroys the social ability of people and sets them up for failure. You need 10-20x more knowledge and literally infinitely more experience than the 4-8x years of university to be acceptable, not even mediocre in a field. Of course there are exceptions like Medicine and Law where you need to graduate from University, but still, those are the exceptions. And they should be in great physical shape and health.

But the bottom line is I have friends who started working as software engineers, mechanical and electronics engineers before or right after finishing high school and they did that by starting to study their respective fields starting at the age of 10-14, 4x hours a day on average about 250-280 days a year.

@zainm5919 start self-educating in an engineering field or trade or commerce or law(potentially go to private courses if good reasonably priced ones exist) and exercising through sports or the gym. Everyone I know that self-educated and became an expert in a field and started working at 16-19 in a good Career have been living their lives to their fullest and are enjoying it, no university, no nothing and are making a killing(3-4x the average salary of the capital).

@zainm5919 Same, except I also self-educated and completed a few private courses and regret ever going to university(and school, but that's sadly mandatory until the last year of high school). Now I'm finally going to be getting a job... my plans were delayed by a total of 7 years... My best friend got a software developer job at 16 right after 10th grade, a few other good friends got a software developer job right after highschool and a few other friends got other engineering jobs, like auto engineering and machine engineering after high school. They self-educated and went to private courses during school and barely graduated due to absence, but have been living the life.

It is though, not the phone itself, but all the social media and even youtube, they are super stimuluses that should be consumed very sparsely.

@theironrubberduck Yup, there are other such distractors, such as youtube, but you should actively work on limiting your time on such super stimuluses and try doing what you want. I find that writing down an exact schedule helps a lot, settings what you'll do at what time and fill your day with different things to do that aren't mindlessly watching youtube or using your phone.

Yes the free for students private courses were so privileged. And not going to school... in a country where the average salary used to be 500 euro until before Covid I'm baffled that people just accept the current "education" and don't revolt against it, since in 12-20 years it produces useless people that can barely get a proper productive job if at all.

See the problem is that I'm completely incompatible with (almost all)women. I'm sure that statistically there are women that are compatible with me out there, but they are few and far between. I have very different values, interests(even within the same fields like music, games, books and such, which are very broad) and views. After middle school(early high school) I've had nothing in common with women. If we remove bedroom activities and kids, if we swapped their genders/sex into guys, but kept everything else the same, I would never be friends or even frequent acquaintances with them.
