They should put CVVD, VVT and VVL all in one. XD

@CJ-vz5bl My father 3-4 times a month for example... -_-

On average Manuals don't last longer than modern automatics, unless all you do is drive on a highway, but even then they don't. Manuals need clutch changes every 30-50k kilometers, they need to be rebuilt more often too.
1
@789pokey with 150000 of those miles probably just cruising...
1
@789pokey and not 30-50k with a manual dry clutch... what's your point?
1
@agentx250 yeah good luck owning one, getting it is hard too...
1
F
1
@_AmarjitSingh As it should be.
1
@_AmarjitSingh That's still great.
1
@hectichive889 Yup, sad but true.
1
Trains!
1
@MattyEngland Muzzle? And I mean modern trains, the kind of trains where the standard slow train travels at 240-270kph/150-170mph. The medium fast train is at 330-350kph and the there are the crazy fast, unnecessary trains that hit 400-600kph.
1
Wait did Nissan make it, or was it JATCO? Because afaik Nissan doesn't make transmissions, right?
1
@kbatzler oh XD
1
so VTEC from Volkswagen, but with a different way to achieve it?
1
trident 🅥 Yup, thanks for one more confirmation, cheers.
1
@grumbazor lol :D
1
@michaelschneider- cheers
1
@gustavmeyrink_2.0 Sure, but still, I doubt most people with capable cars go 210mph every day.
1
@Anankin12 I'm sure it happens from time to time.
1
@meckerhesseausfrankfurt4019 cheers.
1
@subzero871NL have you ever heard of English? I said that most people who have care that can go over 200kmh rarely would go over 200kmh, regardless of how fast their car is. Fast cars are about acceleration, not too speeds, and most people don't want to drive super fast.
1
@ne000 cool
1
Heavy is heavy even if it's 2019 B.C. Physics don't change over time.
1
Wait, isn't the top speed of each gear higher because of the extra 500RPM? It's really only the 4th gear and the 5th that they changed, no? The torque should be the same or higher from 1st to 3rd gear and 6th gear due to the extra 500RPM if the engine can breathe well enough, no?
1
@EngineeringExplained I see, thanks for the info.
1
Except that Automatics are objectively faster.
1
@reinbeers5322 and then again fast cars need them, because they accelerate so fast that with a manual no professional driver would be fast enough, even if you jack the driver full of cocaine.
1
I was about to go on about the transmission, but just as I started writing you addressed it in the video :D Still... With a new modern 8-10 speed automatic and eliminated Turbo lag or minimized the GTR will be absolutely competitive with modern-day sports cars, it also needs to stop getting more expensive as part of why the GTR and Skylines were amazing is because they costed a lot less than other similar cars, but 200 000$... And yes there are cheaper ones, but still. They should also just remove the back seats and all that stuff, it can reduce weight as well.
1
@EngineeringExplained Not having legs is a great exercise I hear, especially on Fridays.
1
propane?
1
Foxtrot Oscar well you get the same fuel economy at roughly the same power.
1
@zippySquirrelface So Furie?
1
@zippySquirrelface yeah I don't know his English name. Still, is that how you calculate it?
1
@jamesferro433 Yes, but how?
1
@jamesferro433 has the stroke changed from the previous year gen 6 mustangs, which could rev only up to 5500RPM?
1
@jamesferro433 well if the stroke increased it means that RPM should go down, no?
1
@jamesferro433 Wait. Then why were they limited in the first place? O_O
1
@AH-lw2bj Nice. Where can I see such engine specs? I can't find a good site for them. Can you give me some recommendations? :)
1
@justinluttrell1769 yes, but why didn't it before? Just so they can release a more powerful version of the car 4 years later?
1
@dudeshark2471 It's somewhat unusual(at least to my limited knowledge) for V8 engines to be rev limited. Usually, they can take a ton more boost, but I've not seen many V8s rev that high unless specifically moded for high revs. But yeah I think they are super cool! I wish they sold engines and fuel systems and computers for them separately. I think GM does it with the LS1, but still, more should do so. On that note what's the actual rev limit on the LS1 compared to the stock rev limit of 6500RPM?
1
@jamesferro433 Thanks for the info. :)
1
@m.h.3679 Hahaha, off road. Mate, you don't know what off-road means.
