@anthonyryan87 yes because there is medicine for many diseases that killed millions of children and there are barely any wars in comparison to the past. If in past centuries a person survived to the age of 7, didn't catch a deadly disease during hos/her life and didn't go to war, they'd live just as long as they would today.

@AtrociousNightmare When you say "Look at history (and present), it's full of people who sacrifice their lives to save that of others" can you give me at least 700 million examples? Because that would be less than 0.5% of humans that ever lived...
