  1. Schools have always been useless, the difference is that before they took people with no skill and knowledge and trained them in 1 month to 1 year, while now jobs are a lot more complex and you have to self-educate and potentially go to private courses for a few years to get an entry position. STEM majors are also worthless because they barely teach you anything too I know from personal experience.
