  2. 1) A properly working set of brakes will stop a car, even at full throttle. Car manufacturers do not want to be sued for an accident due to the brakes not being able to win a tug-of-war with the engine. 2) Yes, he could have put the car in neutral. 3) He could have turned off the car. The driver was either panicking, or lying.

  3. I am pleased that they rescued the girl, unharmed (hopefully he did not abuse her). I am pleased that they arrested the degenerate that kidnapped her. I am surprised that Inside Edition did not blame President Trump (as they blame him for everything under the sun). Let's see what else they find on that psycho's land. This is probably not the first time that he did this. Let's see what the court does with him. Maybe he will say that he kidnapped the girl as a protest to climate change, and the court will let him go.
