  1. It is amazing how quick so many people are, to condemn the police officer, with virtually no evidence. We have not heard one word from the arresting officer. We have not seen the arrest report. We have neither seen nor heard the body-cam footage. We do not even know if there is body-cam footage. And yet, nearly everyone leaving comments is taking Scott Shearer's version of what took place, as the gospel. What happens if it turns out that Scott Shearer was in the wrong? Would you want people, like yourselves, who jump to conclusions, on your jury, deciding your freedom? We do not know who was right, and who was wrong. They might both be wrong. There might be blame to go around. I am not sticking up for the officer. I am sticking up for due process and blind justice. If the officer is at fault, then hold him accountable. Right now, we do not know.
