  2. The authorities / officials that organized that event, and allowed that man on the field with those women, should be charged with assault (or whatever the specific assault-type charge is named). Also, the girl victim should sue those authorities / officials for her pain and suffering. All of the above applies to the man that hit that puck into the girl's face. In other words... every single adult who had an official role in that injury becoming reality should be criminally charged and civilly sued. That poor girl-victim might have lost an eye (or might suffer permanent vision problems) or lost teeth, or a brain injury, etc (we do not yet know the extent of her injuries). And I take issue with our hosts inadvertently calling this an "accident" in the title of their video. An accident is when it was unforeseeable. An "accident" waiting to happen is not an accident. That incident is no more an accident than a sexual assault taking place by a male sex predator in a women's locker room. A proper title for this video is: "Horrible Field Hockey Assault Involving Trans Athlete" Please call these incidents by what they really are. Please never water them down. Words matter, especially in titles of videos.

When someone is committing violence, then they are not protesting. When someone is protesting, then they are not committing violence.   8. 1) The police do not know if the wheel chair was a prop. Criminals are not always stupid. Many criminals are very smart. Evil -- but smart. For all the police knew, that man could have jumped out of that chair. 2) The cuffs always have to go on. The police cannot be sure that their bullets hit their mark; or that they did enough damage, such that the suspect could not reach for a gun (the police did not know whether or not he had a gun). 3) We were not there. From what we saw in the videos, it looks like the officer did not have cause to open fire. But maybe he saw a threat that we could not see. We were not seeing his vantage point. We were not seeing what he was seeing. Let's not convict the officer, before an investigation is performed; before all parties are interviewed, etc. Yes, it looks bad for the officer. But if he is guilty, let it be determined in a court of law, and not here.

They take time off to raise children. They put in less overtime. This does not mean that all women do not put in the same time as men. But across all women, on average, they put in less time, and therefore earn less. When a woman and a man do the same job and put in the same hours, women earn more than men. There is nothing wrong with women taking time off to raise their children. That is laudable. But taking the time off has salary consequences.
