  1. Never accept the "Why do you need..." question. Our Constitutional rights are not based solely on our needs. In a free society, you own what your "want". If you can negotiate or barter for a "want", or you can provide a service in exchange for that "want", then you can have that "want". If we were allowed to have only what we "need", then we would all live in ghetto-like housing, with just enough food to keep us alive. That is a leftist vision for our nation. So the response to "Why do you need..." should be: "I do not need a rifle. Rather, I want a rifle."
