Why is light able to escape a star's gravity, while nuclear fusion is active, and when that fusion ceases, then that star's gravity is somehow able to pull harder and disallow light to escape? The star's mass is the star's mass. It's gravity is its gravity. And it makes even less sense, after a supernova, where much of the star's mass is blasted away. Yet according to the introduction to this video, that is when the star's gravity becomes more powerful -- that that is when light suddenly cannot escape the star's gravity? Is there any evidence of any star that has gone supernova and then became a black hole? None that I am aware of.

You forgot to delete all .mp3 formatted music files. (because the .mp3 format is the Kryptonite of quality audio reproduction)

I come from a planet 41.7 Parsecs from your Earth. We use folding space for travel, as demonstrated on Star Trek Voyager.

@0:07 "It wasn't until 1781, during the age of enlightenment, the age of the gentlemen scientist, that the seventh planet was discovered." That is not exactly true. I came here from Uranus in 1734, and no matter how hard I tried to establish diplomatic relations with the leaders of Earth, no one would see me, and no one would believe me. And you Earth folks are claiming that Uranus was discovered in 1781. If you had listened to me in 1734, your records would reflect the proper information. I would go back to Uranus -- but there is not much to do there -- and they have no pizza.
