I disagree that he "held" Levan. I just cant agree to it because you just have to look the video. No "holding" in the traditional sense, we all know by common sense what "holding" means. Also holding is equivalent in the ordinary sense to a full stop. He didnt to either. Devon merely did a desperation move, what is was, no dispute here, while pulling his arm (see elbow position) AWAY from the match, basically exiting. Of course you could say this time he has more strength or whatever but this is not the topic. The topic is the first match. No "hold" and no "stop" (except, if i said earlier, you have a very lose defintion of it).
2. there is no evidence of an injury round 2. Talking is no evidence. To me it seems on the informal sense that Devon didnt even know in the beginning that he got injured, I dont remember him rigth after the match "Guys sry I got injured round 2 (by some Extraterrestrial force of course), if I hadnt had this injury I would have beaten him". Also Devon was already gased the second the RD2 started, doesnt seem to me that he would go ANYWHWERE even with some full recovered state.
3. I disrespect no one. My expectation of whatever is no disrespect per se, especially because it could be (unknown chance) that Levan DOES flash pin devon 6-0. Do you then say "Levan, this is very disrespectful, you disrespect and discredit what Devon did in the last 12 months"? @thebiglebrowski3695

False. The first Devon vs Levan match. You could have reasoned "Levan has nothing left to prove". Levan could have retired. But this is not how it works, just like Genadi said. You have REPEATEDLYy defeat someone to show that you are under any circumstances the better guy. If Devon wins (maybe just because he is lucky to have a shot at Levan in this current Levan state which is not peak) , then he has STILL everything to prove. It would be 1-1 (maybe in a best of three). He also has to beat Ermes + Genadi again, Vitaly, he has to beat Levan again in the KOTT event (which levan then wins easily), so you cant rest on your laurels. Nothing is forever, everything changes. Also even if Devon gets the hammer, (many people happy), how long do you think he is going to keep the hammer? See? Even if he retires (which I dont think) , he has to (to show the ideal movement, not like Denis) give the hammer away to the #1 guy, which then would be Levan.... so if Devon retires (which he wont do, becaseu he could cetemt his legacy much more if he continues) he woul dhave to give the hammer to Levan again......... so
Devon wins + retires -> Levan gets hammer
Levan wins -> Levan gets/keeps hammer.
Devon wins + continues -> Levan gets the hammer back at KOTT event

I told it weeks ago that he might be not peak, now everyone thinks he might not be peak, the problem is, no one wants to do anything about it. If I dont get peak vs peak (like last time, or at least everyone prepares the best as he can with the same time frame) then why should I even watch this match. I am not here to get an injured asymmetric match like with Denis. Engin has a problem same with Devon, the both want to sell it as peak vs peak match, but now they know it wont be, Devon plays that he cares about it (because else there will be an excuse) but to me he doesnt erally care, higher chances are higher chances,; if they would REALLY CARE about best form vs best form, they would POSTPONE the match to autmun. Still Levan could or will beat Devon. IF that is the case, there is nothing left to say. Levan gets the Belt and hold the hammer, no one else did that before.
