Of course we dont know what weight levan is usually using, what max he currently has, how long he already trained before in this session etc. Of course the topic/discussions have always the injury as groundlayer ("how strong will he be (given his injury)"), which is a problem because we need peak vs peak. Without injury no one would even need to speculate about his strength or lifts

How often he can go up and down is questionable, even though one could argue it will "only" be 10-20kg or so, but it can impact you negatively if you do it more often. I dont think you can hold two belts even over medium term. Its more of a "one-time story". He was the first who held both belts at the time, but thats it. He could maybe (as slight chance) win this match, but for how long he will held the belt. I dont think if Ermes, Levan (fully peaked) return he got an additional chance to hold it.

  28. I dont get the hype around this exercise. I dont see the difference between this exercise and strapped curls he does in his dungeon or in the gym, where he moves more than 75 kg. He always did such "pronation lifts" only in a different position, also in the larry wheels video about "how strong Levan is" its called "back pressure exercise"...... where he did 88,5 kg (one year ago). of course you could say "it a pulley system" which may not be the real KG that is shown. the topic is that this "devon pronation lift" is NOT new. In the past it was called "back pressure exercise", Devon merely does in in a squat position and mayb somewhat more controlled. Meanwhile it stands open for debate if he can even CURL this weight.

  30. Regarding your stop. Some even argue that he already stopped him, you say that he was "just on point to stop Levan". Neither is true. They stopped it because Devon got PINNED. Regarind the others, he didnt stop Levan (except if you mean decelerating movement regarding near the pin), he just accomplished that because he PULLED his arm away from the table, basically EXITING the match. Of course you could say Levan wouldnt have gotten a pin if Devon moves his arm further away, but..... then he exited the match. Already in this position his elbow wasnt on the pad anymore... @Thanhatos

I dont see any possibility where Devon could have won the round with HIS wrist cracked back (miles literally). The important point is that many people focus on some millemeters from Levans wrist while Devons hand/wrist was Kilometers or Miles CRACKED BACK while he was PULLING away his arm from the table, leaving the match. The most illusionary statement would then be "Devon had FULL wrist control, stopped Levan before the pad, CRACKED HIS (levans) wrist and then somehow BARELY lost the round". (this way it sounds from some people)

  60. I agree that he does "more" because he pronates it, but I am not sure what I should think about the neutral arm position (angel between upper arm/forearm, UA/FA-angle). It would somehow mean he cant curl or static hold this weight with his bicep, which is absurd because he does curl with much more weight and can even hold 160kg with both hands. I think this squatted lift is a very specific exercise, also some exercise goes into it to do it right, also how big you are and how low you can go with your elbow. If you say to Devon "pls curl your pronation lift weight" I can guarantee you that he either cant do that or significantly changes his whole body postrues and angles to curl the weight. Maybe Levan just wanted to curl and/or pronate the lift and which this goal of course you change your posture. 0:27 you see Devon cheating here, where his right foot goes UP to move the WEIGHT UP (as if he cant pull the weight from the ground and only with his foot help). Also Devon had a more tight (45° type UA/FA-angle) which makes the lift easier. Regarding the time you need to complete the exercise, maybe its even intented by Devon to do it over a longer time frame (so as to catch the hit of Levan over a longer time frame), meanwhile if you cant catch the hit (which should be way above 165 or similar lb), what do you do then? I would foul out Devon so many times until he learns what a neutral start is. Of course there is an informal aspect, where "if both want to pull, well I let them pull" (no matter their positions), but I am not of this type. I believe in a neutral symmetric setup, if you cant do that, you cant start (of course it would be hard to sell this to the many "compulsary fans" (they dont even care about the setup, as long as they get entertained). So this exercise has nothing to do with pronation (as ROM) at all but is merely a backpressure exercise where you try to hold your pronation intact while pulling the weight from the ground with your BACKPRESSURE. So its a misnomer. The only difference to the traditional backpressur exercise on the pulley system, rack or while standing is that Devon does it in a SQUAT POSITION. Nothing else.

  189. At any match there is the risk for the opponent to see GIGA LEVAN (the ultimate form). Maybe Levan replicated himself into his old self (without injury and 1-2 years of further progress) and his new self (what we see now). Devon shouldnt underestimate the risk of facing GIGA LEVAN. @TheBulls-s4r
