  1. My first trip to Bonaire in Caribbean early 90s,I saw a huge brand new wind turbine to generate power. But it never ran the whole time I was there, even though it was windy everyday. I ask a hotel employee about that. He laughed and said “That thing never worked since day one. They said we’d all have free electricity.” So there sits an ugly wind turbine rusting away on what was a beautiful shore line.
