  1. I recently visited Japan for 1 week for spring break. It was my first time to visit an asian country besides the philippines because im filipino that looks chinese. Japanese ppl looked at me like im one of them or Chinese so they only act friendly towards some asians but by experience, i noticed they looked scared towards non Asians. & i even saw why. I went to a McDonald’s & a white fat woman held the line for a minute to tell the japanese cashier to give a sandwich with no pickles & that woman’s tone was making the cashier uncomfortable that the line looked at her. Me on the other hand, Japan was ok but as someone who only knows english, some Japanese are upset when they meet other asians that look japanese, cant speak Japanese. & main reason is because you cant tell who’s korean, chinese, etc. I said earlier i was filipino but looks chinese, my eyes were too small to look like an ugly filipino & my skin wasn’t THAT tan. So i liked how they saw me as japanese, chinese, or korean. It felt like i was home when i visited Japan
