A “response” like what? Their a bit busy in Ukraine right now, and their forces in Syria are too small to really be a threat to Israel.
2
@bearhead9633 maybe because the only reason people even join the military these days is for the benefits, and if it wasn’t for that, they would probably go for a much safer and laid back civilian job instead, that at least allows them to talk back at their boss or quite their job on the spot without being thrown in prison for “deserting”? Like, there’s alot more reasons why people don’t join the military these days. And it ain’t getting better with this old mindset here. And it’s not like these trends are going away anytime soon either.
2
@bearhead9633 well now all you have these days are people that don’t have a lot of opportunity’s for climbing the social ladder, trying to get their citizenship or can’t find work elsewhere. There’s hardly any “all walks of life” in the service anymore. And constantly criticizing the way they go about their lives, even in uniform, isn’t helping the recruitment issue we’re face either. What good is protecting the freedoms of your nation’s people, when your own freedom is restricted and you can maybe get ahead in life elsewhere? The military basically has to compete with the civilian job market, and it’s woefully unable to fight that kind of opponent it seems.
2
No, not “still.” Ones a war with an ally where treaty obligated to support against once of nations oldest enemies. The other is telling unarmed civilians they can’t become Americans.
2
Ya, people seem to think rural populations can defeat industrial powers on their own turf for some reason.
2
Ya, because the war is agaisnt once of longest running rival who spent the better part of last century trying to destroy our nation, armed everyone of our nations enemies after 1945, and now is trying to take over a fellow democracy by force. The other is a bunch of unarmed civilians who have the audacity to want to be Americans. Quite the difference here bud.
2
Maybe Russia should stop starting wars with their neighbors then.
2
Maybe Russia should have treated their vassals better while they occupied them for 80 years, and they wouldn’t have joined NATO the first second they had the chance.
2
@Mgallus19 well there’s nothing to worry about then, because NATO doesn’t have land based missiles like Russia does, and there for, needs no land to threaten them with Unless Russia wants to annex the oceans, there never going to keep the predominantly submarine-based nuclear missile Arsenal of the west away from its borders.
2
Ya, basically.
2
Ryan’s not part of the government
2
Yes.
2
US navy: allow me to introduce myself
2
They don’t have the brains to be scared apparently
2
Yes to supporting Ukraine, hell no for getting out of NATO.
2
So, what you feeding them with, since you supposedly can’t afford groceries right now, and this doesn’t help you in anyway.
2
They don’t face up….
2
Ya, their desperate for manpower
2
No, just speaking the truth, liberal
2
Cry some more. 😂
2
Ooo, boy. Hey ryan, want to show him your badges?
2
if your nation was being invaded by a much larger country, would you not fight for its defense and liberation?
2
@xechostormx the question is quite simple bud. Wouldn’t you keep fighting for your country against an invader?
2
@ratroute8238 depends. If he keeps their pay decent, they’d probably just let him have it.
2
Depends on your definition of “Patriot”. Because there are enough crazies out there that would do it.
2
They where blue and yellow color bands.
2
Ryan sold us the Iraq war?
2
Considering the US military has had ONE instance of mass desertion in its entire history, and plenty of incidents where it has harmed US civilians in the past, I wouldn’t be so confident of that statement.
2
@BadCompanyGaming perhaps you should ask the Taliban why they had to wait two decades for the US pull out its warplanes before they could even think about going on any major offensives.
2
@BadCompanyGaming the US army never lost a single battle to the Taliban at any point during the war. The Taliban had to hide out in another country for nearly 20 years for us to get bored and leave before they could do anything else. And lol, where was “Juba” when ISIS was killing and violating thousands and Iraqi citizens? Did he run away like the rest of his insurgent friends when an enemy thats doesn’t play nice like the US showed up? 🤡
2
Is that why they’re begging North Korea and Iran for ammo and cannon fodder?🤡
2
@zane3699 and yet, he’s still hasn’t been wrong yet in any of his reporting.
2
I don’t get what your trying to suggest with Russia invading Ukraine and leftists but, ok….
2
Then your very short sighted
2
Yes, but how many of them actually work?
1
@markpommett5712 the US didn’t lose in Iraq, and we’ve done very well in the GWOT.
1
If they would actually increase solider pay, and actually help our vets out, they wouldn’t have the shortages they have today.
1
No. Not many people pay attention anymore these days to their surroundings
1
If that was the case, how did we survive 2020?
1
So did you not support the US in WW2 then? Because this isn’t something unique to Ukraine.
1
Yep. Hundreds of them. Why?
1
And if he doesn’t win?
1
@ericmartin9232 you act like trump would have any control on the Ukrainians will to keep fighting for their country (which any real Americans would support) Or any control on Russia continuing to escalate the situation going forward.
1
@ except they didn’t, and Russia never cared about that piece of paper to begin with. The US didn’t force Russia to do anything either.
1
Why would it matter?
1
On deporting or not deporting?
1
Ya, look up why the national guard doesn’t get used in crowd control any more.
1
Nope.
1
@jrwood88 I think the founders could have done better. Even if it meant having the civil war 80 years earlier.
1
Ukraine will not be defeated. the Russians have never won a war of attrition, and have lost many wars before.
