  3. No, they operate them because they either: A) have them left over from the Soviet Union and no budget to replace them. B) can’t afford western aircraft Or C) are enemies of western nations, and it’s the best they can purchase, and pray they don’t have to fight a Western equipped airforce.

  11. How can you call it a failure, when everyone has been trying to copy it for the last 20 years and it’s never seen combat? It’s not like there’s been many conventional wars this century (until the war in Ukraine started) to even have dog fights between planes.
