  8.  @jozefhudacek2341  you know NATO can already hit Moscow within 5 minuets with nukes from Estonia right? Or Poland. Or soon Finland. Or hell, put more missile subs in the Arctic and have the ability to hit Moscow in 5 minuets as well. This isn’t the 1960s and more. You don’t have to have missile silos right up on a enemy’s border to hit them. And sure, Cuba could have nukes if it wanted. It wouldn’t exist as a land mass much longer afterward if it actually used them…..

  9. A retreat is still a defeat bud. The Russians gave up there only real threat to Odessa by losing Kherson, and gave Ukraine enough armor to make a new battalion at Kharkiv.

  10.  @sorenjorgensen5334  war does not “ebb and flow”. Every piece of terrain, every town, and every objective costs supplies, money, time, and blood to take. If your not willing to fight for and hold the land you take, you are only wasting your forces away for nothing. That is NOT how you win wars. Especially when you then focus on a even bigger meat grinder like Donbass, and free more your enemy’s forces up for the same battle.

  11.  @sorenjorgensen5334 except Russia was on the defensive in those wars, not on the offense like they are here. I don’t know a single army on the attack, that gave land back to the defender, only to then have to fight for the same terrain AGAIN , and came out the victor. Infact, Russia shouldn’t be defending at all! . If Russia really can’t beat Ukraine at this point, and hasn’t achieved any of its objective almost A YEAR into this mess, then the best option for Russia, is to go home already.

  14.  @NekoImeni  they could have been a “5th column” for the Russians, sabotaging Ukraines response to the VDV landings at Hostemel, guided lost Russian columns back to the right routes, ect. Instead they did nothing and actively helped the Ukrainians fight back gaisnt the invaders. So to me, it looks like those “ethnic Russians” either don’t exist, or are not living in Russia for a reason .

  17.  @michaeljcross87  the Russians took a bombed out mining town in the middle of no where, while losing there only bridgehead over the Dnipro and the only land threat they had left to Odessa. And technically, “Russian land” because they “annexed” Kherson too. And now Ukraine has 200+ tanks and AFVs coming with the possibility of fighter jets too no long after, since they showed the west they can take land from the Russians effectively. Doesn’t sound like a good trade to me bud.

  18.  @michaeljcross87  it’s been “over for Ukraine”Since Mariupol fell, yet Ukraine had taken back half of Russia conquests and 2 major oblast back since then. If the original 200,000 personnel counted take Ukraine, and the last 300,000 mobilized personnel couldn’t hold Kherson, Izyum, Lymen, Kharkiv oblast, Kupyansk, Snake island, Sumy, or Chernihiv, then what’s another 200,000 hope to do now against the constantly resupplied Ukrainian military?

  23. You realize the entirety of NATO can keep pace with Russia right? If we couldn’t, Russia would be in Kyiv by now, and not losing 2 major oblasts in less then 6 months.
