  1. Did you honestly belive that a man from Texas would build a cheap world record car and not charge alot of money for it? Americans are among the most money greedy people in the world and they charge whatever they can, honestly the build cost is probably in the 300,000$ region. The development hasn't cost alot either because all parts are pretty much taken from others. Ford GT gearbox, TT LSX engine, brembo breaks, Lotus body etc....
