  1. i have the whistler ws10470 handheld scanner, and it covers anywhere from 25.000 MHz all the way up to 1.3 Ghiz, although cell bands are blocked for obvious reasons. but it covers digital modes as well such as APCO phase i, and i think NXDN but I'd have to look at the menus on it, it also can cover am signals such as those found down on the 40 legal power CBRS channels too. it also can store up to like 37000 possible programable objects too and what i have programmed doesn't even covers that huge landscape of objects lol. I love the hobby of scanning too but guys, do it legally, i do it legally and have been for years now. yes, i use to scan cordless telecoms as a kid, but that is NOTHING compared to what this poor sod did. what he did sounds to me like it could involve charges of treason before the royal crown court. let';s hope he didn't face charges for even HAVING those frequencies in a scanner lol.
