  1. I have a license for both ham, and gmrs, so with that being said, I can use the uv5r for both services. Murs now, that’s a whole other ballpark. Because of lack of part 95. Certs, it’s also technically not legal to use it as a MURS radio but people do it anyway lol so basically,I contracted myself.
