if i was running that station and I found I could no longer keep it going, I would fight it with OFCOM, they'[re worse than the FCC when it comes to that kind of enforcement. I know of one station that went dark due to bankrupted, and that was WNFX fox radio 96.7 here in the united of states. that was way back in the eighties though and I highly doubt the FCC penalized them for going off air,. If you can't afford it, simply don't try to purchase it.
