  1. lol, some hams don’t get it that you only call cq once, wait for a reply, and if not, don’t keep trying on that frequency for another 3 minutes. At the top of each hour and at the bottom of each hour, I observe a radio silence period of 5 minutes to allow distress transmissions because I’m a very considerate operator. Try it, you just might get quite a few friends, be a dick, and we just ignore you.
