  1. I’m not a telephone operator no, but as a kid I used to call information just to talk to the Beloit central office lady lol. Turns out, she, just like me, was a CB operator as well as a telephone company employee. So, because every time I called, it cost per call, I went from the phone, to cb radio to talk to her on her commute to work and to home all I know is, her name was Julie. To bad she went away, because she was my friend ho I thought lived in the telephone when in reality, she was a living being just like me and you. That’s what got me into ham radio which I have been into for 20 years now.
