  1. i remember as kids, i use to just sit and dial randomized phone numbers, those that arent active, and would sit and listen to the intercept codes lol. my favorite still today is, we're sorry, but the number you have dialed, cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number, and try your call again, "sit tones" we're sorry, bnut the number you have dialed, cannot be completed as dialed, please check the number, and try your call again "sit tyones" lol

  2. teletype has short hand, TTY is the initials,. ham radio allows for such facilities, and i've heard such data bursts on the HF bands too,. it'd be kinda neat to start a service like that using ham freqs where you have a central operator, who then connects your calls via tty, like the phone companies use to do lol. bery interesting video though. i didnt know tty for the telephone existed as far back as the manual switchboard.

  3. that's stupid expensive. that's like roaming on a cell tell. roaming use to be a bitch for price, hence why i never used it when it was there. now you got nationwide calling for the price of your monthly bill, my how things have changed.
