  1. They are actually very different, they are in no way copies of each other, Matthew and Mark perhaps are very similar. But Luke and John are completely different. I took a class in college called historical context of the gospels and it opened my eyes to see how unique they really are. But you are right about them all telling the same story just from different perspectives.
