  1. Not true. Many people wait a while to compete. Also he’s coming in at a SUPER high strength level so his risk of injury is WAY higher, you can’t compare him to some 19 year old 130lb kid who goes to an amateur tournament.

For those of you who doubt Brian Shaw and haven’t been following him prior to this just so you know is he got the nickname brain years back from Eddie Hall himself because he is known as being the smartest most technical strongman of all time. He will have incredible table IQ as well I would imagine. So anyone who doubts how technically proficient he will be in the table just remember this. Those who know will know. Brain 🧠 will pull Eddie “air head” hall across the table 2024.

  3.  @figsigger6422 he definitely knew how to strength train. All guys at that level have to because they all have elite genetics and gear. But other than that he seems to not take training serious.

  4. @ Travis Bagent and Devon are the two most famous and popular arm wrestlers. They are the only reason the sport is big at all today. It needs to grow and have money in it so better athletes will join. Devon is the one who got Brian Shaw into it.

  12.  @mytho3489  exactly. There is no way he could actually dominate regularly if he competed 3-5 times a year. He isn’t the best arm wrestler year around he just is the strongest when he peaks with his crazy drug stack. I’m not saying it isn’t impressive, I just think it would be much more impressive if he could compete any given month.

  13.  @hectorantoniodejesusibarra7431  pull the same top guys but more often. And no, it wouldn’t be the same result if he was pulling every 3 months he would have a harder time peaking. It’s easy to peak when you only pull one guy a year. If you have him pull guys like Devon, Ermes, Vitaly, Jerry, Kurdetcha and Morozov or any other guys that hop up into top 5 every 3 months. If he does that for 3 years then he will most likely be beaten.

  14.  @pedrobile1382  if this is true then why doesn’t he prove it. It’s because he can’t. He should be able to crunch 4-5 people a year if it’s so easy. You know as well as I do that he couldn’t do that unless he peaks perfectly otherwise he would. Denis is the same way needs 6 months minimum for a match. These juice heads are all the same.

  16.  @pedrobile1382  if you are going to claim the reason why he hardly pulls anyone is because he has zero opponents to challenge him then the only logical thing is for him to retire. If he wants a challenge he will pull more often and not take 6 months to a year to peak for each match. If you can’t understand this then you just lack the aptitude and there’s nothing else I can say to get you to grasp it.

  27. If he wanted to pull Brian he still could. It’s 7 weeks away and he would be good on the right arm and just needs to hold the handled with his left. However I hope it gets canceled because it’s a mismatch anyways. Would rather see Brian pull someone who actually arm wrestles.

  28.  @X42-w6b  I know Brian has strong hips but he said they were “fairly strict” but not totally. So he is claiming he didn’t use much body momentum. So taking him at his word which is all we have to go off of then he would be super strong in curls. But without video we can’t really assess because we don’t know for sure how strict they were.

  29.  @kaylawilliams9699  either way Levan was still held at center for about 10 seconds and still had his wrist taken and had to flop press Devon. It was definitely a great and fairly easy victory for Levan like all of his matches have been. He is just too strong and too good right now.

Devon trolls his opponents or potential opponents so hard they often get upset including Americans. As I said before he has called Dave Chaffee dumb and made fun of him. Just last year he made Michael Todd so angry trying to set up a possible match that Michael hung up on him and told Him to never call him again and he is a North American. And if we are talking fellow Canadians within the last year he pissed Ryan Espey off so much by trash talking him at a tournament and trolling him that Ryan Espey literally filed and ethics complaint and tried to get Devon banned from arm wrestling in some Canadian leagues. And he hasn’t had a match with Matt mask in MANY years now so why would he currently be trash talking him. You are just completely ignorant of all the trash talk he does when he faces American and Canadian opponents as well. Plus lately he has only been facing Europeans so that is why you have seen that highlighted. You don’t sound like the most intelligent guy. I guess Ryan Espey tried to get Devon banned from Canadian arm wrestling because He thought he was such a sweet guy 😂😂😂

  39. @ I say that because Eddies comment about how the biggest handle would mimic Brian’s hand showing that he is thinking about a Brian rematch already obviously. Clearly even though they are best friends Eddie and Brian are both competitive and since Brian won he’s in Eddies head. If Eddie would have won in sure it would be the other way around. Not sure why you took it as an insult or knock on Eddie. I love both guys.

I also agree that Eddies table movement was a little better than Brian’s and Eddie picked it up fairly quickly. The problem is Brian was stronger in the arm wrestling strengths required and has better leverage. So I’m not sure what we disagree on. Eddie needs to get serious in arm wrestling if he wants a chance to beat Shaw in a rematch.
