You probably haven't studied losses well. The USSR lost 8 million military. (with own collaborators)
But the USSR fought not only with Germany. But also Czechs, Hungary, Poles, Slovaks, Danes, etc. even with the French. 300,000 casualties of Russian collaborators RONA, ROA and others.
1.3 million Japanese casualties.
At the same time, the USSR did not kill civilians in Europe. And Europe and Japan killed about 20+ million USSR civilians. I think the USSR had fewer military losses than Europe. But there are more civilian casualties.
The leader, of course, is China with its 35 million. But there are mostly civilian casualties.
Germany lost 4-5 millions military
Poland lost 3-6 millions military (about 20% population)
Japan 1.3 millions military
and many many other countries.
