  1. McCafé was an Australian invention. We also have things like macaroons and pastries. I think we also started the self serve computers. A lot of what comes out in McDonald’s is tested in the Thornleigh restaurant at the head office in Sydney Australia. (Except specific national menus). It’s kinda the experimental restaurant.
