Regarding, the "pile crap thing".. .. I read Ms Bhojwani book, pretty inspiring book too.. And she said, she wonder if she can teach this stuff to young kids, how great would it be.. I was privileged, to be in a position to teach kids, as a home tutor.. And, i actually wanted or tried to do that.. .. But it turns out, the children are perfectly fine on their own, and there's nothing i could teach them.. (At least the 2 3 spontaneous ones.. ) (i may have learnt a thing or 2 from them though.. )

Now is real.. Change is real.. ..

The 5 ultimate truth is impt to me too.. Cos i felt that identifying all those illusions and blind spots, are too much work.. "Now is real", "Change is real".. (Audio book), esp "change is real" resonated strongly with me.. And the video on "5 grand truth" from Stanford pop up class..

I like the "first" two chapter the best, "the illusions of thought" and "the illusions of self".. Got to put things into practise though.. Like listing the times when we feel happy, or coming up with our folder of 19 happy thoughts.. And, practising observing external and internal sensory inputs..
1
I realised i skipped "illusion of thought" until the part about insights from Aria.. But i watched the Stanford pop up class after.. Cos i remb you said that's the fastest time you are going to go thru it ;)

Or, is it just a phase of life.. .. When "organised" is sufficiently developed, you go back to develop the "spontaneous" again.. ..

45K views.. Hmm.. I always thought I'm a top-down learner.. But i guess your conceptual level involves much more layers of abstraction than myself.. I read (listened.. ) the book from front to back.. Repeating some passages more than 7 times.. From the architecture of the "code", i could understand (on hindsight.. ), the need for "solve for happy", and "the if-else of expectation" modules/ foundation.. The "archer analogy" was quite a handful, for me.. But i saw how it connects to "6-7-5" on this run.. Thanks !
