Not really. Around 140 countries were against the invasion. So how is that most of the world?

@artmartinez4048 Sanctions are needed to punish countries who do wrong. Because they aren't in a position to sanction Russia.

@jasonwright8546 Plebs, specially chinese plebs, don't get much of a say on the matter nor should. Otherwise China and India would have an unfair advantage. What matters, is the leaders that are responsible and represent each country, and they made their choice.

@niklaus9678 I can read. But using population as an value, fully knowing that China holds an unfair advantage is pretty disingenious. Country numbers are what matter, not population. Maybe you should look into a mirror, instead of resorting to ad hominems. Calling people names is the sign of someone who has no civility.

@rodplanet5901 140 countries is a lot, it would take me at least half an hour to search them all, not worth it. As I said, it's easier to google it. UN vote condemnation of Russian invasion.

@artmartinez4048 Then neither is your opinion a fact, then. Not really. Not all who condemn Russia are in a position to sanction them. So saying, "well they didn't sanction them, so clearly they don't oppose it" is factually wrong. If one opposes it, but can't due to lack of influence, that doesn't change the fact that it opposes it. If you truely read between the lines, then you would figure out that not all countries have the power to do so, and thus in no way invalidates their opposition.

@jasonwright8546 Because they aren't Nazis, and because their goal isn't ethnic cleansing. If it was, they would have targeted "ethnical Russians" on the west side of Ukraine as well. So why is only Donbass regions targeted? Because that's where the separatists are located. As they should broke them. The agreements didn't stop separatists from attacking Pro-Ukranians, making the agreements pointless. It doesn't matter what they begged or didn't beg. They aren't worth starting a war over. Nobody is, let alone them. What Russia Federation? Donbass is part of Ukraine, not Russia, even Russia claims they aren't part of Russia, by claiming they are their own republics instead. They could leave for Russia, and stay there, if they can't obey the Ukranian government. Causing a civil war by rebelling isn't acceptable. The right thing is to punish them for the sins of causing a civil war, and dragging Russia into their affairs, causing chaos in the world. By that logic, all nations should be invaded, because all nations have some nazis in them, including Russia.
