Hardly. Only France was hurt in WW2 against Germany. Also, it was Germany that got wrecked the most. What lessons? We won against the Nazis.

Imagine using nukes over something like this. That would reveal Russia as a weak country, who needs nukes to deal with a country that should technically not be a threat.

@kuiperbond8460 Actually is a problem. Ukraine being close to Moscow, means they would feel the radiation. Worse, they would make themselves valid targets for nukes themselves.

@groenegrasmat Obviously, I meant only France was devastated by it. Since Germany invaded France and took hold of it. I'm well aware that many people died. But I'm talking about how much it damaged each country in infrastructure.

@Kevin-qo6jw Hardly. The Nazis are barely existant and not a significant threat. It's the eastern countries with the exception of India and Japan, that are the true danger nowdays. As we should let them if that's their wish. And yet still preferable to what Putin's government is, which invades Ukraine over Donbas and the like, all this death over those criminals. Invasion is never justified.

Putin would have to be stupid to use them. That's not necessarily much of an advantage. Not having bigger crowded cities, on a country that doesn't even have half of it's territory occupied by inhabitants, means that there's far less to destroy on Russia.
