  8.  @nashpv  No they didn't. Having defense systems is perfectly justifiable when you have a neighbor with nuclear weapons, like Russia. In fact mere missiles might not be enough should nuclear weapons ever be used by Russia. It doesn't matter what Russia wants or doesn't want. You don't invade another country just for that.

You mean like Russia browbeated Ukraine in 2014 by arming separatists? Hypocrisy. Call it what you will if that makes you sleep better at night. Ukraine is our ally, and we should support them.

If it was an ethnic cleansing, then why only those territories? Ukraine is composed of Russia blooded people almost everywhere, since they were part of Russia centuries ago. More than 50% of the whole Ukraine population has Russian blood, and yet only separatists regions are targeted.
