My 30's years old generation wasn't even born then, so I take no responsibility for it. Something that happened many decades ago doesn't matter in the face of the current crimes. And you are blinded by Putin's lies, so even if you were telling the truth, you are no better. Also, I don't trust you. The word of a stranger is worth less than dirt.   13.  @besov1985  Simple, by our dependence to their gas. Notice that even now, if EU does anything that doesn't please Russia, Russia will use our gas dependency agaist us. And it will only get worse if we let them do whatever they please unnopposed. EU should have never listened to Merkel. Not only that, but invading a nation first is immoral, no matter what excuses Russia makes.

  14.  @besov1985  USA and Russia both have blame in all of this, but specially Russia. I don't care if it's more expensive if it means not buying Russia's gas, at least not directly anyway. I don't forget anything, that house is there to stay. Russia is to blame, Russia armed separatists in 2014, Russia invaded Ukraine. You don't get to tell me it's not to blame because they took direct action against Ukraine, no ifs or buts about it. I don't care how many times you were in Crimea. Only because they have no choice but to be happy, or face the consequences of opposing Putin. They could have peace, if they didn't betrayed Ukraine as well. I understand it. I don't care if they are "your" people, because they are Ukranian citizens. I wouldn't give a fig about an ethnic Portuguese being a Russian citizen, for he would be no longer one of my people. So why should you care?

I care if they are going to impose their ridiculous ideals on Ukraine. Invading first is plenty to rub me. I don't forgive major sins.

  16.  @besov1985  As they should. In order to defend themselves against potential invasions, they must have as much firepower as they can muster to deter Russia. Russia has nukes, so why can't anyone prepare their defenses against Russia? Russia has nukes, and is ruled by a former KGB agent for 20 years. If you think that's not a threat... Well you probably wouldn't anyway, because you don't understand how the KGB's way of thinking, a relic from the USRR, is dangerous to our nations.

  17.  @besov1985  It does threaten me. Even now, they are a threat to what I believe in. And those negotiations won't work, because Putin asks the unnaceptable. Ukraine must never recognize Donbas, and must not delimitarize no matter how many times Putin asks.

  18.  @besov1985  So am I. But that peace is impossible, because Putin keeps making new goals to keep the invasion going. They already took Donbas and destroyed most of the AZOV battalion, their perceived Nazis, so they should have no more reason to be in Ukraine and yet they still are.
