  2. Gerardo Salas military regimes could be used as a nation's "gestapo." since south american countries never go to war, i would think that the armies would be there for the purpose of putting down dissent during protests and not to defend their countries from other countries attacking them.

  5. ***** what would motivate them to do it at the moment?  chile seems to have mostly right wing policies from what i understand it and so they wouldn't feel the need to do something like that i would think.

  7. Korth if they arrested 3 people in connection to the bombings then i would've thought that they would've at least figured out if they were right wing or left wing extremists by now.  is the chilean government trying to keep it a secret for some reason?

  8. i don't care for them myself.  i always associated political anarchy as being the most extreme form of the right wing because i thought that it meant no government and out here in the usa, the less government you want the more conservative you tend to be and the more government that you want the more liberal that you tend to be.
