  1. VICE News i think that this civil war is going to drag on a while. i still don't understand why the east can't just separate and the west just allow it and both sides go in their own direction and maybe in time be able to have better relations.

  2. FCCO the usa isn't sending guns to ISIS. thank you for demonstrating that the world wide press likes to lie and manipulate people as well and its not just the usa press.

  4. FCCO they were the ones supplying ISIS with weapons.  the usa did back the rebels but it was the saudis and their neighbors who spearheaded the whole thing and encouraged people to go over there and fight assad.

FCCO being betrayed by what you thought was your was your ally and directly and consciously selling or giving weapons to a group like ISIS are two different things.  i knew about the iraqi army dropping their weapons and leaving them for ISIS but all of the details of exactly what they got was foggy in my memory banks.  if the iraqi army was planning on doing that then i don't think that it would've mattered who the president was when the opportunity for them to do what they did happened not to blame things all on bush.  we were not welcome visitors/occupiers when we were there.  even the group that benefited a little when we were there don't like us or appreciate it. exactly how did obama blame bush anyways?

FCCO that's true but the iraq war had already cost us 4 trillion dollars up to the point where we eventually left not to mention the fact that the iraqi government didn't want to renew the contract to have the usa forces stay any longer.  it would be similar to blaming nixon for the usa losing the vietnam war.  eventually you have to cut bait.  especially when the cat is out of the bag and the world knows that the reasons given to go into iraq were either lies or embarrassingly incompetent intelligence reports.  under all of these circumstances, you have to cut bait and let the iraqis deal with or make their own decisions whether or not you like those decisions or not.  it would defy all logic to stay there and really it defied logic to go into iraq in the first place considering that there were plenty of alternative intelligence reports out at the time of the iraq invasion predicting exactly what eventually would transpire.  i know this for a fact because i remember reading a lot of that before anybody ever talked about going into iraq a 2nd time.

FCCO egypt ousted the muslim brotherhood and morsi over a year ago and now a secular general named al sissi is the leader of egypt. also how do you figure that obama had anything to do with morsi ever being elected in egypt in the first place?  there are reports that the elections were probably rigged in his favor and that might be true but i still don't see how you can connect obama to that.

  10. Дима Карпович there is a real bias in the russian media towards putin and lots of pressure to get opposing press agencies shut down. with an almost monopoly on the press, of course most russians are going to like putin.

Дима Карпович i know that bias in the media is world wide.  i'm not sure if a lot of russians know this though.  knowing this is supposed to make you skeptical about what you hear or read in the media no matter what those sources tell you and especially be skeptical of the stuff that you like hearing or reading.  that is how you are supposed to watch and read the news.

  12. Misha Lagovsky russians are as much people as anyone else.  i'm not sure that some of them learned about orwell or media manipulation the way some westerners have done or how to tell when the media is lying to you or not though.

Misha Lagovsky he was known as the father of modern peace time propaganda of which he himself got the name changed to "public relations." he was the american nephew of sigmund freud and he used his uncle's ideas to turn the usa into a consumer culture from a subsistence culture as one of the first things that he did. his influence on the world is almost as big as his uncle sigmund freud and i'm not exaggerating either. even josef goebels used to buy his books and learn from him.  he also promoted a lot of things that weren't so good and he could be shady too but nevertheless he was highly influential and yet most people never heard of him which is why i thought his screen name would be an interesting one to use.
