  1. do you think that you could do some more future reports on who is profiting from what would appear on the surface to be all around bad economic policy being done in the netherlands?  i don't buy that they are doing this because of pressure from france and belgium.  maybe the EU a little bit but i doubt that they are the main reason either.  are there any "coffee" shops not on the government hit list (hint)?  is there a corporate/mob/government deal being made behind the scenes?  who is really profiting from these policies because i would be willing to bet that some group is profiting.

  2. if i was an investigative reporter, i would ask who is getting richer off of these marijuana crackdown laws.  on the surface, it looks like an all around bad economic decision to try to shut down these "coffee" shops.  is it only some of them that they want to shut down?  if so then why?  who is profiting here because someone somewhere has got to be benefiting financially from these new policies.

  6. Dimitri Vitalyavitch why would european colleges be so set against weed?  are they afraid that many more students would become lazy and flunk out of school?  why do they care?  that's the attitude of american colleges.  if you pass you pass and if you flunk you flunk and that's all on you.

  8. wilson1031 i don't know what the right wing politicians in the netherlands have planned to make up for all of that lost revenue if they had their way.  there seems to be a lot of hidden things going on behind the scenes there that leave a lot of questions to be answered.

  9. yeah i know.  none of it makes sense.  maybe an investigative reporter can uncover some dirt for everyone and explain to us all why socially liberal western europe is more conservative about marijuana laws then the conservative usa?

VoodooRabbit Garuda it sounds like there is some corporate interests who are against the legalization of weed in the netherlands and are giving bribe money to their politicians to try to make it harder to grow and consume.  i don't know what else it would be or how that cuts into any corporate interests but that is still usually the general pattern whenever you see things like this.
