  3. it wasn't racist, it was just a stupid idea to make a movie about genhis khan back in those days and it was especially stupid to cast john wayne as genhis khan.  making a movie like that about genhis khan would be like making a positive movie about joseph stalin and portraying him as a good and admired historical figure.  actually it would be much worse then that.

"crash" was also an awful film.  some glaring omissions that mojo didn't mention were "clockwork orange" and "star wars." neither of them won best picture that year.  "clockwork orange" was one of the all time greatest and most brilliant films of all times although i can definitely see why it didn't win best picture and star wars lost to a woody allen film called "annie hall."

  7. gnr didn't get along with anyone.  they also had a big feud with metallica and pretty much anybody who ever knew them.  gnr even alienated a lot of their fans and had fans wanting to kick axl roses ass.

Rawk4Life the mainstream news is all pro-establishment.  msnbc shills for the democratic party.  fox news shills for the republican party and cnn kisses the asses of both parties.  if you had developed any critical thinking skills then you would've figured out that all three networks are as dishonest as you can get.  i remember cenk uyghur telling a story before he was fired at msnbc and they were shilling for the iraq war like all of the other networks sayiing that his boss had him come to his office and literally told him "the government isn't happy with you.  we are a pro-establishment news station.  stop questioning the iraq war." wake up and learn what is really going on.

  17. thewookful obama had to fix all of the problems that bush gave to him.  some of the problems he did ok on and other times he failed.  still it was bush and his predecessors that created the problems in the first place.  obama was handed an economic recession and a war that we had no business fighting and he brought our unemployment rate down below 6% and got us out of iraq.  those are at least two positive things that he did.

DramaqueenEstrella27 genhis khan was a mongolian.  if you get a chinese person to play him that that would be a grave insult to the proud mongolian people.  there also wasn't very many racial minorities going out for acting back in those days, especially chinese americans.  it was a stupid idea to do a movie about genhis khan for a lot of other reasons besides not being able to find a mongolian actor anyways.

Jason Douglas what was racist about tom and jerry?  i haven't watched a cartoon of theirs in many years and so my memory is a little foggy on it.  i didn't like the cartoon because i thought that the fighting was way too lopsided and i thought that they should have let tom kick jerry's ass more often to make the cartoon more unpredictable back when i was a kid but still i don't remember anything racist about it.

Avedragon Rawr some people will still be overly focused on her because she is a lesbian but in reality even more so because she was overweight.  that more than anything else is the reason why she was miscast for this role.  still there are always going to be some people that are going to watch an openly gay actor/actress in a straight role and be to focused on the person and not the role that they are playing or the movie that they are watching.  that's just the reality of things.  i think that a director and actors can pull it off if they are creating fictional characters but not for a movie like the flintstones where you are taking an already created show and recasting a new set of actors to play the role.  if a casting director is going to do that then they better try to find the actor or actress that fits that already created character instead of reinvent them a little.

GuyWithAnAmazingHat i like the idea of the movie where the idea that maybe their is a god and its a human being who hasn't evolved to the point of becoming god yet is the story. its pure science-fiction but its still an entertaining idea to me. still the movie could've been better with the plot. i don't know why lucy was supposed to evolve to the point of feeling no empathy or compassion for other people.
