jack ryan i wonder if mojo left star wars off the list on purpose? maybe they wanted to see how long it would take before someone pointed that out. it seems like that would have not only been an obvious inclusion but also rank#1.

Erika Antol "a clockwork orange" was covering the topic of psychopathology and whether or not psychopaths can be reformed or not. the violence in the movie was necessary in order to show the actors committing violent acts and getting sadistic pleasure from it without a tinge of guilt or remorse which is how psychopaths in real life are like.
1
***** oh yeah they left the omen and poltergeist off of the list.
1
***** the exorcist was brilliant and playing on people's unconscious fears. the idea of an evil spirit taking control of your body is scary and a great idea for a horror movie.
1
charizard4410 not even the exorcist or the conjuring?
1
3martiniplaydate you didn't like the conjuring?

Avedragon Rawr neil patrick harris is faced with an added challenge to playing his character that other straight actors or those believed to be straight wouldn't have to face. he still would have an advantage over rosie o'donnell because harris was playing a newly created character that nobody else had created. he wasn't re-created a role already played by someone else. o'donnell was playing betty rubble. an already created cartoon character from the 60s. her being overweight for the most part along with her being a lesbian makes her less ideal as a candidate for the role. that's life. if they decided to cast her then that was their business but she wouldn't be the ideal candidate for the role of betty rubble. it's not homophobic or being mean to overweight people. there are plenty other roles that o'donnell could play like in just about any movie out there but just not betty rubble.
1
Avedragon Rawr it shouldn't matter but for some people it does and hollywood is a business first and foremost. i don't mean that they should only cast thin actors/actresses or never cast a gay person in a straight person's role but some roles are still a bit of a stretch for some audiences. another problem with casting o'donnell is that since this movie, she has presented herself as the kind of person that a lot of people don't like and that includes men, women and gay people who feel like she rubs them the wrong way. i've never met her and so i don't have an opinion of her but that is also a factor here.
1
rage tracker i've seen real ghosts or at least had some forms of supernatural experiences with a scientific explanation that may or may not be true and even those real life experiences weren't scary at all to me so a movie like paranormal activity is going to make me fall asleep.
1
KaSaNe BeLLa i noticed that one conspicuously missing too. i think mojo likes to do that on purpose. they like to leave off a movie that almost everybody would agree would belong on the list. i remember they left the first star war off of the list for classic movies that didn't win best picture once too.
1
Cindy Campbell i've had plenty. lol. they are fun if you truly have no fear of the supernatural. lol. you can actually order the mean ones round too. lol
1
yeah, it's like everybody expected to have the same feelings that they had when they were kids and first seen the original trilogy. it wasn't going to happen and whatever ideas that anybody had for the prequel didn't happen and so a lot of people didn't like it. with the original trilogy, everybody was just all along for the ride. with the prequel, everybody was being hyper judgmental every time something happened that they would've have done if they were the screenwriter.
1
Edward Bernayse666 wouldn't have done and not would've done.
1
i thought that both brokeback mountain and crash both sucked.
1
jaimekstillo1 why don't these people get a life or at least start following current events about things that really do matter in the world.
1
leicester city is an easy no#1 pick with no other teams coming anywhere close to them. montreal canadians have won 25 stanley cups which is by far the most and so i don't consider them to be underdogs in any situation. sportswriters underestimated the fledgling AFL league at the time of the jets win over the colts and that's why they underestimated the jets. the NFL and AFL never played each other all season and so people would naturally assume that the much older NFL was better. the rams turn around season when they won the super bowl deserved to make the list. other than that, good choices.
1
@aidan armstrong they had help from the refs and besides that they have lebron. lol it's hard to look at any team with lebron james on it as a sentimental underdog.
1
@diana's galaxy i think they are naming teams that nobody thought would be good before the season began. if sportswriters thought you'd be good and contend for a championship than they don't count.
1
i like the way darth vader calmly walked away at the very end of empire strikes back after the millenium falcon made its escape.
1
***** i don't know how to compare the two scenes. i liked the scene that i described because as a kid watching empire strikes back, it was the first time that i had seen a villain as being portrayed as very smart and very strong and not some kind of full of shit character. that's why i liked that scene among other scenes.
1
+Maya Silvers maybe they didn't consider superhero movies with a lot of non-existent high tech in them to be scify. still his movies are good. i just got through watching the avengers2 just an hour ago as a matter of fact.
1
Maya Silvers idk, you should ask mojo about that one. really there are a ton of both science-fiction movies and super hero movies to separate the two for what mojo likes to do.
1
+Corey Doyle no i think that george lucas counts as a scifi director. science fiction is fantasy.
1
Corey Doyle how could star wars not be science fiction. the setting takes place a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.........
1
i think that it was supposed to be why they would do it in the first place. it was supposed to be used to portray black people as being happy about being seen and treated as 2nd class citizens because they were supposed to be simple-minded and grateful to white people for being allowed to exist in their society. it was the same thing about the watermelon and fried chicken stereotypes. when i first heard that, i was "who doesn't like watermelon and fried chicken? what negative connotation is supposed to come into my head over some stereotype of black people's food preferences that everybody else shares?" but i guess it was used in the same way to portray black people the way that i described above.
1
Jeff Boxing that was a good movie that most people missed.
1
Pan Pieczarka i think that most people just rolled their eyes at that one and weren't ready to boycott his movies at that point. it was that phone message that he left for his girlfriend that got people boycotting his movies.
1
Eirek Eichel most christians in the usa want to roll out the red carpet for netanyahu for things written in the book of revelations. they are brainwashed souls. they like jews and think that they are god's chosen people but still they have zero clue about how to explain their loyalty except to say that they are supposed to be loyal to israel no matter what they do.
1
Jake Westbrook he's pretty old now anyways. he might as well retire and go into seclusion.
1
Arsenal Gunner i think that mel gibson might be nuts and using any kind of profanity that he can think of saying for the sake of saying it. if you are in the room and he is in one of his moods then he will probably rip into you with some kind of stereotype name to call you too.
1
or godsmack versus niki sixx.
1
johnathan pinckney poltergeist wasn't even given honorable mention and some of these movie listed were just boring and not scary at all.
1
ZuhZabet those fascists ought to be ashamed of themselves for that too.
1
ZuhZabet your parents sound super ignorant about what really goes on in politics with both parties. taking sides is really a fools game. its really just two psychos fighting for more power and control over the resources (money).
1
thewookful what do you know about politics and why do you think that someone who has a different opinion then you is "uneducated?" maybe they have lots more information than you have.
1
ZuhZabet are you learning anything?
1
jsmith42690 there is a black mark on obama's record.
1
actually i was thinking about metallica versus gunsnroses or better yet gunsnroses versus anybody who ever knew them.
1
Emilie F i thought that was how george lucas wrote the character of a young anakin skywalker. during the transformation to evil, he still was kind of like the brainwashed NAZI officer thinking that he was doing something for the greater good of society. he believed in order and in having an iron-fisted dictator use fear and intimidation as his way of keeping law and order. it wasn't exactly clear about why a young anakin skywalker thought that way though but still there are plenty of people in the world who think this way.
1
Emilie F i think that he wanted to do good but the methods in his head were the wrong way and to absolutist. for example, there could be a war declared somewhere and there could be a young guy who gets overly enthusiastic about it because he wants to be a hero so much and he goes down and signs of for the army and then finds out that his country that he was so patriotic and enthusiastic about supporting turns out to be the bad guys. he is then left with a choice to either quit what he is doing or continue on. usually these guys alter their world views on good and evil and convince themselves that they are doing good no matter how obvious it is that they aren't doing good. if they have a conscious and they survive the war then they will come back with PTSD. anakin skywalker is like a george bush or someone in his administration. to admit that they were mistaken to themselves would be too much for them to psychologically handle. that's probably why lucas scripted for darth vader to take off his mask and then die at the end of return of the jedi. it smbolized that he couldn't handle it.
1
The Sir (blasterblade) a lot of this stuff is business decisions and speculation. the producers figured that too many people would quit watching her show after that and so they needed to cut bait early or lose viewers for their food network.
1
isaiah thompson you can't get arrested for insulting people or calling them names (unless you are from the UK).
