interesting documentary. groups like that have been around forever in every part of the world. these guys probably got tired of all of the dishonesty from the government and from the top brass in the military and decided to leave, join a PMC, get paid more and most importantly to them, pick and choose what you are willing to fight for instead of being forced to fight in. instead of fighting for corporations for a small amount of money while being told that they were fighting in defense of their country, they would rather the honesty be upfront and work directly and honestly with the ones who hire them without all of the bullshit. that's what these guys seem to me to be like.

it made me laugh. i got the impression that the cat fetish might have had something to do with how they would like to be approached and courted by a potential suitor. skittish around strangers but if you are really calm and nice and have some food for them........lol they will warm right up to you and hop in your lap and shower you with affection and really appreciate affection given to them? i actually always thought that women were a lot like cats. i think they probably want from men what typical women tend to want from men from what i'm reading into this. also have you ever heard of an old term "cat house?" you know what that refers to right? lol anyways this does look silly to me. i can't help but laugh at it but if that's what you all want to do then more power to you.

Flip Dip tibetan monks and hindu yogis have been doing what this dutch guy is doing and teaching people to do for thousands of years.
27
+Jeremy Pooran that's a good joke there.
14
i made my 90 year old grandpa watch this. i asked him if they ever had anything as goofy as this back in his day and he said "yes and we called them cathouses." lol for those who don't know........back in the olden days, a nickname for brothels or bordellos was cat houses.
12
i didn't know that.

some british like that style and i guess find that way entertaining. i think it was mostly an act on her part. i personally find the style boring and annoying but......i'd rather see a middle-aged deadhead who followed the grateful dead around for a summer or two go there and do the story. their perspective on something like this would be more interesting and enlightening to me.

(rolls eyes) this is a ridiculous doc which is in tune with vice's style of doing docs on freaks. everybody on this doc was bizarre and out there. plus vice's UK office seems to be run by literal man-hating, radical feminists. not normal feminists who just want a chance to pursue their own goals without being discriminated against or put down for not fitting into a "feminine" model of behavior (whatever that means). they seem to be what i described. read their snide, belittling articles about men. they are extremely blatant about it.

VICE i don't think that hanoi jane should be a spokesperson for any cause. not after those infamous photos of her sitting on a cannon smiling with the vietcong and betraying the trust of the POWs by handing over letters that they had written to their families letting them know that they were still alive to the guards and then having some of them kill some of them and severely beat the others and after that speech that she gave in 1973 calling the POWs liars and all sorts of other vile things. as a matter of fact, she should've went into hiding for the rest of her life after she started to figure out how beyond evil and atrocious her behavior was.
7
+WolFurious PvP it's interesting and disgusting to me but i'm still not going to criticize vice for making this documentary. this is the kind of thing that vice does and has always done from the beginning.

***** its actually looks like its turning into a lot of cities in the usa. this exact same thing happens in the usa.
6
David Kendall did his dad really work for him? did most of the employees not like belfort? better yet, how do you know all of this stuff? was it in his book or do you personally know someone who knew him?
6
+turtles what happened to the good old days when emo kids would just cut on themselves with razor blades for their traumatic stress discipline fix.
6
Bluj162 it gets the ratings.

it seems like you all are and were being too judgmental with the syrian people who supported assad. of course most are going to support him under the conditions that their country has been under. in both the USA and even the UK, all a leader has to do is sabre rattle a little bit and their poll numbers end up shooting up. if you had to choose between a dictator who at least to you as been benign enough and left you alone and who was secular and let you live a secular life or practice your religion in freedom vs living under ISIS sword and have all of that violence, fear and instability then what would you choose? that's how it was for syrians before the civil war. plus of course most of the rebel fighters have come from other nations. assad is a dictator and it would be better if he had allowed more freedom like for instance with the press but still......look at our own MSM. they all like to sabre rattle for the POTUS no matter who they are or what BS war that they are trying to market and advertise to the people and has always had a history of promoting lies for them in order to get the people to back the wars for profit and imperialistic aims. imagine what the people in the west's reaction would've been if we had to face what syrians have had to face? we'd be the same way and any president/prime minister/government would be cracking down on human rights and going "ooops" with their bombs that they drop frequently. look at all of the "collateral damage" from our drone strikes and the "targets" don't even pose any kind of treat to take over the government.
6
if that's what she wants to do then it's her business. never seen any ladies like her walking around yet and i'm from california. :D

there's a very old and grammatically inaccurate statement that goes "if it ain't broke.....don't fix it." gay/trans people are still rare. most countries post statistics that say that 3 percent of their populations are gay and that includes the liberal scandinavian countries. it's probably a little bit higher than that but not much. trans people are in the.....00000111percent or something. that tells me that it usually is a good thing. good parents will see their kids as individuals and by doing that, if their kid shows signs of being gay/trans then they should adapt. this whole social experiment in sweden is severe mental abuse.

Juststay still they seem like the kind of people that i would want to meet if i ever visited london. they are the real people that live there and not the polite people that are trying to get your tourist dollars. these people seem like the kind of people that i can connect with and relate to more.
5
AngelEnemy666 we could try to get the wolf-pac bill signed to stop the corporations and billionaires from buying our politicians and making puppets out of them.
5
+darko1295 when i was a kid i used to stick my finger in an old lamp socket and electrocute myself. the lure was that i had no words to describe the kind of pain that i felt (it was really painful btw). i grew out of the phase at around 8 years old though. i think that is the lure for these people too.
5
@sammy hammy because we see the parents narcissistically projecting their own neurosis onto the kids and don't see happy kids. we also see big problems way down the road for these kids because of the way that they are being raised.
5
tonyfalca numb themselves from emotional and psychological pain. inflicting physical pain on themselves makes themselves feel stronger and able to deal with whatever turmoil that they are going through.
5
plus you can be a secularist, atheist, christian or whatever you want in syria under him.

@shots fired by james wills i think those people at that festival were what used to be known as either "weekend hippies" or "plastic hippies" by the hippies who really walked the talk and ......i'd rather see a deadhead back in the day when the dead still were a band who toured around america with the large caravan of deadheads following them and who followed the dead around for a summer or two do this story and interview the people. you'd get better and more interesting questions and a perspective on the people there as well as the festival overall that would get to the heart of this festival more. they'd definitely be able to see through the phoniness and see the parts that were more authentic. here's a hint: if a person wants to pursue a spiritual path and try to develop and better themselves then it shouldn't cost them a dime. :D
5
chaoshallnotfall it will be an action adventure classic. a cult classic is a low budget sleeper that slowly and gradually spreads over the years and where a select minority of people think that it is a great film while the majority either never heard of it or never got the film when they watched it.
4
TurkishWolf there aren't any western countries that come close to the level of human rights abuses that go on in saudi arabis. this guy featured in the video got a 10 year prison sentence and 1000 lashes for openly speaking out against the human rights abuses that go on in his country. where in the west is anything equivalent to that happening?
4
the vast majority of us would've hated it growing up if we had to endure that kind of social experiment.
4
she's the opposite. she puts out right-wing neo-conservative, propaganda movies full of misleading and wrong information to the public. she's more like an american leni riefenstahl.
4
Dillon Miller i'm wondering where they get their money to live much less bail themselves out of jail. i wonder what their parents think of all of this too?
4
+bulkforce5 why are you outraged and disgusted? i can understand why people would feel embarrassed at how nerdy and goofy these people were but to be outraged and disgusted is a little weird.
4
R baya and then you are supposed to start talking really fast and non-stop without a pause for about 3-5 minutes. that's how these right-wing radio hosts play their games. they make ludicrous statements and then blabber on and then make another ludicrous statement that they made up and then continue the game. how that old used car salesman game still works is beyond me.
4
i noticed that black people don't develop fetishes the way some white people do. why is that? i have a theory but........
4
@kipper keeper every cat that i've seen has always had a degree of skittishness to them and feral cats will take off in a blink of an eye if you even think about making a movement. lol i'm not interested in any kind of role playing though. i'm basic and boring. :D i guess the fetish is that some gals would like to pounce on the guy that they want and others want to be courted in a more careful manner and some can be spoiled and want to be called out on their behavior and........not interested in BDSM though. i never understood the point in sexualizing neurosis to that degree but i guess people will do it up to a certain point. some people just like to take it a bit further than others. anyways if these ladies are feeling alright with their lives then i have no problem with their cat fun and cat adventures. lol
4
she's alright overall and she's nice eye candy but VICE's coverage of the syrian war is always embarrassing to watch. i guess VICE has some shareholders invested in saudi oil and prominent zionists.
4
i'm guessing that they have no idea about that. the teacher in the video more or less implied that he wouldn't know about anything like that when he said that during the time of mao, there was nothing but good news reported and never bad as though only good things did happen and never bad things.
3
+Rage King when i was young i smoked weed and it was fun for a few years and then i started feeling social anxiety when i smoked it and then it wasn't fun anymore and so i quit.
3
i think that he has a fetish for that kind of thing.
3
***** i remember the pictures of her smiling with the vietcong and sitting on top of a cannon used to shoot down american planes and hearing stories about her ratting on POWs who trusted her to send messages back to their families and let them know that they are still alive. nobody caught her either, she just willfully handed over the letters to the guards who had no idea what was going on and guess what happened to them?
3
baghead777 no this is vice and that's their appeal. too much formality and professionalism comes across as dishonest.
3
maccoretti some people aren't academically inclined. what about working class jobs instead?
3
most people would think that it was stupid but still it was interesting to see them performing ancient rituals from the ancient greek days. that would actually make a good show for tourists.
3
Joe B that and they don't like being stared at by strangers everywhere they go.
3
AudioDriver that craze back then had never happened before. it was like it started things like "black friday", camping out to get the latest x-box or whatever it is kids today buy and all of that. from then on, stores learned that they were going to have to prepare for future crazes like that.
3
@uutuber431 kids that young aren't developed enough to "control their own identity." that's basic child psychology.
3
most kids will try to please their parents.
3
i figured that maoism was almost dead but still had a few isolated enclaves where the people were very poor still supporting it. that's how large countries are like. there are always going to be regions where the people living there are a bit slower and less educated the the rest of the general population.
3
***** kind of like a british guy trying to live and romanticize the days of the british empire.
3
you all have 1.35 billion people. americans are the same way whenever we hear of a remote place in the usa.
3
VICE tibetan monks and hindu yogis have been doing this for thousands of years. i heard of this way back in the 70s.
3
+Savage 420 i turned my head when they lifted him off of the ground.
