there's a very old and grammatically inaccurate statement that goes "if it ain't broke.....don't fix it." gay/trans people are still rare. most countries post statistics that say that 3 percent of their populations are gay and that includes the liberal scandinavian countries. it's probably a little bit higher than that but not much. trans people are in the.....00000111percent or something. that tells me that it usually is a good thing. good parents will see their kids as individuals and by doing that, if their kid shows signs of being gay/trans then they should adapt. this whole social experiment in sweden is severe mental abuse.

@sammy hammy because we see the parents narcissistically projecting their own neurosis onto the kids and don't see happy kids. we also see big problems way down the road for these kids because of the way that they are being raised.

it's a combination of the two. still the trend in the universities seem to be to ignore the "nature" part too much. like i said, the vast majority of boys and girls are at least happy that they were raised as boys and girls. why upset the apple cart (saying out here). there is nothing wrong with being a boy or acting like a boy when you are a boy.

@uutuber431 kids that young look to their parents for guidance and structure. if they tell a boy he's a girl then they are inclined to believe the parent.

there's an old grammatically incorrect saying that goes "if it ain't broke.....don't fix it." for the vast majority of us......growing up with subtle cues hinting towards us what toys to play with and what activities we should do when we go outside to play never hurt us one bit. i liked playing sports at recess and video games and legos, lincoln logs, matchbox cars, collected baseball cards as a kid and i liked those things because they were fun to me. if someone had kept buying me dolls to play with then knowing myself, i wouldn't have wanted to play with them. that's how most kids naturally are too. the reason why there are "gender constructs" is based on people and marketers doing study groups on kids or at least on the topic of gender development with kids. if toy making companies can double their sales and get both genders to like their products then that would more than make them happy. i think that it's good not to be too rigid in how parents raise kids and how teachers mentor kids because of the fact that there will always be a few kids who go against the norm and know how to adapt to what they need without changing the whole social structure to fit around a small few. here's an example: i'm allergic to penicillin. when i go to the doctor and need an antibiotic, they have to prescribe something else for me besides that which is unlike the vast majority of people out there. does that mean that doctors should quit prescribing penicillin to everybody just because a small minority of people like myself who have an allergic reaction to penicillin?

@alejandro montero lol from what i read, most of your fellow swedes think this is weird and even child abuse. plus sweden isn't that much different from the USA. both countries have their roots in the judeo christian value system. the cultural differences are minor and they come from the fact that sweden is small, sparsely populated and has always been monocultural and monoracial until recently. as an american from california, i grew up white and was and still am always around black people, latinos, asians, indians native americans, arabs, etc. even when i say latinos, blacks and asians, there are still mexicans, guatamalan, brazilians, argentines, etc that i've known. among black people there are those born and raised in california, those who moved here from the east coast, south, midwest, etc.among asians i've known chinese, vietnamese, cambodians, phillipino, etc. i think that a social experiment and this is exactly what this is in sweden is a social experiment and not part of your culture would have a predominately detrimental effect on ALL of these racial/cultural groups that i just mentioned. i think this social experiment will have harmful effects on the kids who have to be the ones to go through it. what was shown in the video isn't a cultural practice that people do in your country. an example of where cultural relativism can apply would be to tell conservative christians not to judge natives in the amazon jungle for walking around naked. one example where we should draw the line would be where a father takes his daughter and executes her for being a rape victim. also i would suggest that you look up a psychological term called "narcissistic projection." this is exactly what the parents/teachers are doing to these kids and it is considered a form of mental abuse. do you seriously think that these kids are going to be able to relate to other kids and the other kids to them just fine? having once been a boy and having played with other boys.....i can tell you that these boys are going to have a hard time learning how to get along with most of their classmates including the girls and the boys especially will grow up to be very angry and bitter at their parents/teachers for forcing them into this experiment. many will become suicidal and i'm sure some will actually go through with it. being swede doesn't matter one bit. your cultural marxist professors are wrong. there are many differences genetically in the brain between males and females. in the nature vs nurture debate......it is a little bit of both and not purely "nurture" the way that these professors are trying to stubbornly brainwash their students into believing. there is real scientific data to back up what i'm saying. have an open mind and look into it.

i don't think that they will be friendless but i think that there will be a lot of kids and adults in sweden who are going to be afraid of the kids and want to bully them and ostracize them. sorry but i don't buy all of what i'm hearing about swedes being as liberal as the claims. at best, in general you all are more inclined to leave people alone to go about their lives then other people in other western cultures. most swedes are still going to think this family are freaks though. the parent in the video pretty much said just that in the video and his/her mother in law more or less reiterated that.

if you abuse your kids then they grow up with problems. how they act out to the abuse depends on how they were abused and how their genetic template is like. if nurture was all there was too it then i'm supposed to be in prison right now or be some kind of psychopathic banker. the reason why i'm not is because my genetic disposition and my mom making sure that i knew and understood the mother/son love bond. that's all she had to do. she didn't have to "raise me like a girl" in order to teach me how to be a good citizen capable of empathy and compassion for others. my inborn "maleness" never got in the way of any of that. i get the impression that mean feminists are behind all of this and are coming from a place where they think that males are born "evil" and need to be brainwashed into this......it looks like the inmates have taken over the asylum to me. do you all know what that phrase means? males are born fine and should be allowed to explore our world from our own eyes. females are born fine and should be allowed to explore our world from their own eyes. gay/trans people are born fine and should be allowed to explore our world from your own eyes. for you.....you would've been able to really take to that kind of parenting. for the rest of us......it would've been a horrible disaster. a more wise way of raising kids should be to just be on the ball and sensing what your kids are like. if they happen to have a gay/trans kid then you can figure out how to adapt your parenting style. all kids get treated as individuals in that style. there is no narcissistic projection going on which is mental abuse and destroys kid's spirits.

i noticed that too. the basic role of parents is to teach them how to function in society. when a baby is born, the high probability will be that the baby will be hetero and feel more like the gender that they were born with. there's real science to back this up with too. if they start to notice signs that their kid might be gay then they should adapt to how they are raising them. what they are doing in sweden is mind fucking them. these kids won't be able to find their place and know who they are by forcing the kids to repress their masculine sides which is exactly what i see them doing in the video.they aren't raising "gender neutral" kids. they are raising boys to be girls and the girls get to.......they are going to be the weird kids and grow up to be confused about everything. i can see some of these boys wanting to take up skateboarding and soccer and ten feeling like that's wrong which is an unnecessary neurosis tat the parents are putting on these kids.

@dallas alicea sorry but that is what they are SAYING. what we are SEEING in the video doesn't correlate at all with what they claim. anyways across the board throughout all of our countries (except the UK but that's another rigged poll) 3 percent of the populations are gay. it could be a little bit higher than that but it's not going to be that much higher than that. with those percentages, it's best to raise your young kids with the genders that they genetically are. if by chance they have a kid that seems to be showing signs that their kid is gay/trans THEN they can adapt and even then this whole experiment is a bad idea. other kids are going to think kids like the ones in the video are from pluto and they will be unable to relate the the kids and the kids will be unable to relate to everybody else. the hermaphrodite parent is narcissistically projecting his/her own neurosis onto the kids and that is known as a form of mental abuse. this is not good parenting at all.

i think he's going to have trouble relating to other kids and them to him. as an adult he is going to feel very depressed and lonely. you might have wanted to be raised that way but for the rest of the people who aren't gay/trans......it would be hell. what the parents should've done was treat him like an individual and not project their own narcissistic neurosis onto the boys. that is always wrong and is always mental abuse no matter who it's done to or why they did it. it is very clear in the video that the parents are doing that just that and even got an admission from one of them and he/she had the adaucity to make a false assertion that "all parents do it" when in fact educated parents who truly care about their kids won't ever do that.

@alexandra montero i am allergic to penicillin. when i go to the doctors and need an antibiotic, the doctor has to prescribe something else for me which is unlike the vast majority of people who don't have allergies with penicillin. does that mean that doctors should quit prescribing penicillin to all of their patients just because a small minority of people like me have allergic reactions to penicillin? that's basically what i hear and see when i watch this video and read people's comments who are defending this.
