KittiesBandit the hindus that want eating beef to be illegal are probably trying to fuck with the muslims in india as their primary reason for wanting it to be illegal.  hindus in india know that they are unique in the fact that they don't eat beef and respect the fact that the rest of the world doesn't see it that way.

  3. Josh Wellman you can also put a plow on a cow and direct it to pull the plow for you when you are farming.  they do that in south asia a lot.

Milnor Sarefx my uncle used to raise rabbits for eating.  he was also a bit crazy and used to eat and cook meat from animals that aren't associated with being eaten but never a dog or a cat.  that was still taboo to him.  i tried to eat swan meat once but the meat was rough and stuck to the bone and it wouldn't come off and so i guess that explained why people don't eat swans.

  8. ikwtif you still are of a minority opinion if you are a westerner.  to me as a westerner, the idea of eating dog meat wouldn't feel right but intellectually i don't see what these people in yulin are doing as being any different then anybody else in any other meat eating society does.  one side problem that i see is that i think that there would need to be a crackdown on the pet dogs being used as dog meat.  that was obviously going on and there should be a compromise there to put a stop to that.

  9. aecawec sdcasdc personally, the reason why i think that dogs are submissive to humans is because we are actually the physically stronger and more powerful species.  if you take away are complete sense of civility and an average strength male would easily kill a big dog like lets say a pit bull or a rottweiler with only his hands and feet.  i know this to be true because i've seen it once when a rottweiler tried to attack one of my friends back when i was a teenager.  he felt bad about it afterwards but it was either him or the rottweiler.  i think that's a big reason why dogs are instinctively inclined to be submissive to humans.

  10. keepitreal613 actually hindus make up a slight majority in india and they won't hate anybody who isn't a hindu for eating beef.  they aren't stupid like that and know that their tradition is a unique one.  they live side by side with muslims who do eat beef but won't eat pork.  they are used to that kind of dietary differences between cultures.

  11. Grace H technically you can digest raw meat and be fine.  it is just harder to chew which is why early humans started cooking it and our teeth started to evolve to a smaller, weaker kind of teeth.
