  1. It's not so much the disappearance of brands that is the real problem. The problem is that people are reluctant to spend their money in the current circumstances.

  3. None of these brands will be back. Russia is now on a similar footing to Iran and North Korea. Not in any way attractive as a business market.

  6. Western brands will never be back. The stores have been sold off at a loss. Renault sold its entire Russian holdings to the Russian government for one Ruble.

  9.  @TravellingwithRussell  MacDonalds have announced that it's never coming back, and Renault sold everthing it owned in Russia for one rouble. Russia iS an equally unattractive market place as North Korea and Iran.
