  1. In Russia (where I come from) police would dissolve this camp very fast. Authorities woul say these people are lazy and do not want to work. Or they would be forced to move into abandoned bad houses.

  2.  @looneycow  in abandoned houses? There are nearly no shelters for homeless in Russia. It would be a sign of weakness of state.

  3.  @looneycow  there are enough abandoned houses in USA too. American homeless people could occupy them and live there. By the way there is no social help for unemployed people in Russia, they have no money to buy fire wood or something for repair. Also there are no food banks in Russia. They live from begging or stealing.
