  1. There should be a law that grandparents are entitled to see their grandchildren unless the grandparents have criminal records for serious things. So cruel, to keep children from loving grandparents !

  2. So unpredictable - what might upset them at any time. I mean things not connected to you. An actual quote, “ It’s raining ! I want to go out ! What are you going to do about THAT, eh ?”. As you said, when they feel that they’re not in control of the universe, they batter someone else verbally usually, into exhaustion…for hours and hours, even a few days. Anything, even trivial, can set them off. Then, when the other person looks very unhappy, they perk up, smiling. A vampire, might be more fun, frankly.

  3. Good advice. Bad behaviour is usually disguised/ held back, initially. Even so, if it starts, move on.

  6. That’s so important. Never, ever, be alone with a narcissist and tell them your plans. I had no children but I took the lovely ginger cat I’d taken in and one medium size case of the few things I had. I did, leave a note. “ Do not attempt to contact me or the police will be informed immediately”.

  7.  @lindahaggard6416  Thank you, Linda. It was a long time ago but I hope no one, ever leaves pets, with a narcissist, let alone leaves children with one. . I hope you have had a more peaceful time too. ❤️ I planned carefully, before leaving…redirected mail, changed bank payments etc to match the leaving date, saw a solicitor, etc. Didn’t tell my mum or sister, or work colleagues…or anyone else who might tell him. Getting away was so worth it. 😁🤗

  8.  @susandymock769  That’s so sad. I hoped that if parents knew that no contact wasn’t legal without legal reasons, it might discourage them from thinking that what they intended to do, might not be as easy as they assumed.
