  1. Maybe not such a good idea to provide Russia or any other country or lesser structure with more options than they may already have in mind. I am very cautious about exploratory option searches that can provide, not only the major players, but also the "hangers on", the "wannabe's" who may not have considered being involved but are simply intrigued with the implementation of an idea for its own sake.

  3.  @nian60  I acknowledge and support your comment. The gas storages are full and there are other sources of energy available and more near to coming online. "Cheap" is a relative term and there can be all sorts of penalties for and connected with "cheap".

I cannot see where your arguement (in debating context) shows that the USA would derive a greater benefit than the possible cost, politically, economically and in particular, ethically than the possible benefit that might be derived. {Cost/benefit analysis} It would appear to me that the Russians would have had little to lose. Indeed, they had already taken the steps of terminating supply of gas through the NordStream 1 and NordStream 2 was not likely to ever become operational. Cutting the remaining supply and effectively, at the very least, temporarily and possibly permanently, incapacitating the means of delivery of gas is the opportunity and means for Russia to make a considerable statement. A type of acceptance and statement that finally recognizes the inevitable divorce. The idea that Russia would be responsible is also supported by Russia's preparedness to use nuclear weapons, a position that they had stated prior to and following the possibly irreparable damage to the pipelines. 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦 VICTORY for UKRAINE 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

  5. Unfortunately, if they have unilateral control of the investigation, I think that it is likely that they will say it was sabotage, purposefully carried out by another entity {definitely not RuZZia, as with MH17}, possibly Germany or the USA. 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦 VICTORY for UKRAINE 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
