  4. (POW's) Prisoners of war are not the prisoners being referred to here. The prisoners being referred to here are Russian prisoners in Russian gaols who have been convicted of civil and criminal offences and crimes in Russia. This is a "get out of gaol free card", if you survive.

  7. Absolutely, though the offers have probably only been made to prisoners who pose no risk to Russia and, consequently, may pose no more risk than any of the Russian troops in Ukraine. However, from various accounts of the activities of Russian troops in Ukraine, the prisoners-turned-soldiers may be even less offensive. 🇺🇦 🇺🇦🇺🇦 🇺🇦
