  1. Absolutely agreed and supported. It is certainly unusual to be tested quite so strongly and severely, particularly by people whom we would otherwise believe "to be our own {kith and kin}". However, with calm deliberation and firm action, I believe that the allied countries will get through this issue. I make my comment inclusive, because I believe that all of our Free World countries are going through a similar process. In the US, it is more public and the consequences are more dire. However, all of us need to reflect on what is happening and why and take notice of what is happening in our own countries. These events are not static and any 'solutions' are not permanent. We must stay alert, responsive to, and ever prepared for such events in our communities, cities, and countries, and even at the level of our personal relationships.

I believe there are people who have so little care for anything that is, or anyone who is not in their immediate and personal "sphere of influence". So much for patriotism. I only hope that my affirmative response to your comment confirms the concerns of others who think the same way and riles others into positive, peaceful and very strong action.

  3. I agree with the sentiments of your comment and have supported it. I do not know the US political system well enough to be able to make comment on whether or how McCarthy should or could have been retained. I most certainly know that the people like gaetz, johnson, greene, boebert, trump and the other entities in that clan are an abomination, not just for Ukraine, but for the USA. I can only hope that the US survives this test of their Country, their Constitution and their people.

I enjoy watching Jake's videos, but as an American, republican and supporter of democracy and Ukraine, I truly am disappointed in our government to support an autocracy {Russia} over a democracy {Ukraine} or cow down to threats and bullying by a person such as trump or a country such as Russia." "I am a republican from a state where my congessman is a supporter of trump, a person who is not the incumbent of the presidency, but is running for the position.   5. Unfortunately, from the type of "Christian" perspective that Johnson clings to, he would believe that he is being martyred for the cause when accused of any vile behaviour. If any negative behaviour could be attributed to him, he is likely to be blind to even that reality. I have supported your comment.

  6. Unfortunately, in all the allied countries, there were those who believed that the allies should combine ar make agreements with Hitler. Among those people were some quite prominent members of the public. You may care to web-search some queries like "Public support for Hitler in allied countries" or "More Americans Supported Hitler Than You May Thinkr" or "More English supported Hitler than you might think". The web-queries return some interesting information that may help us to understand the thinking of some people in today's situation. Neville Chamberlain's agreement with Hitler At Munich, Chamberlain got an international agreement that Hitler should have the Sudetenland in exchange for Germany making no further demands for land in Europe. Chamberlain said it was 'Peace for our time'. Hitler said he had 'No more territorial demands to make in Europe'. {Sound familiar?} We know how that worked out.

I've supported your comment, but it begs the question whether the member countries of the NATO Defensive Alliance and the other Free World countries "cannot out produce a 3 country coalition" or the gravity of the situation has not yet become apparent to them. The only other possibility, that I can think of, is that Ukraine and the ~60 countries assisting and supporting Ukraine actually have a plan of which the majority of us are simply not yet aware. That is my hope.
