  1. In principle, I agree with your summation and have supported your comment. As has often been observed, the longer and "cooler" the WAR, waged by Russia against Ukraine, the fewer will be the lives lost of Ukrainian civilians and military personnel. Correspondingly, the greater the opportunity for attritional reduction of Russia's military assets, leading to an ever decreasing capacity of Russia to wage WAR on Ukraine or any other countries. Presumably, Russia would not have anticipated the loss of navy and airforce assets that they have experienced. Hopefully those losses will diminish both the intention and capacity of Russia to escalate the WAR against Ukraine and or to wage WAR against any other country in the near future.
