  1. As someone who was abused as a kid by a parent, I can say that the world would feel a lot more comfortable if that parent were dead. Even though I'm in my 40s now, my abuser is still out there. I might bump into them one day. But there's a big difference between wanting someone to be dead, and wanting to kill someone. I would never kill my abuser, but I have fantasised about it. I can empathise with this girl. It's all just very sad for everyone involved.
