Battries don't go flat. Programming dosen't change. Compatability isn't a problem. And! very releveant , it is a Physical record. Not just a collection of electrons that can be altered with no trace.

Plus- Ever seen a second hand E Reader shop? What would be the fun if you couldn't pop into the odd charity shop and just browse the books?

You need the 1,000 page paper manual so that when the computer goes wrong you can find the information to fix it!

A lot of UK law demands Physical Records. Handwritten Paper records, difficult to alter without leaving a trace. As for such things a E readers, - You can't hide behinnd a E-reader. and the batteries don't go flat or compatability problems with a printed book. Historical note: Anthrax was such a problem amonst those sorting rags for paper, it became known as Rag Picker's disease
