  1. The theme music Puffing Billy, was written by Edward White, in hponour of a steam loco at Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. It was used for as the theme for a BBC Home Service Children's Favourites radio show on a Saturday morning for years, and yes, that show started me on Classical Music 😁 PS Gerorge, it also spelt your way., so which is correct? Who cares?

  2. Funny thing is , I live in UK, and Captain Kangaroo, was never shown on British TV. However! The theme music Puffin Billie, of Puffing Billy, gets spelt both ways, was used on the BBC Home Service Childrens Favourites radio music show on a Saturday morning for years. Originally compiosed by Edward White, in honour of a Steam Loco on the Isle Of Wight. One thing the show did do, gave me a life long love of Classical Music.
